Time to Cultivate a More Creative Life

Studio

--

Today we’re excited to announce that we’ve changed our name from Monthly to Studio.

When we founded this company three years ago, we had a clear mission: to make creative fulfillment attainable to everyone. And we had an idea about how to make good on that mission: immersive, hands-on, 30-day online classes taught by the world’s most creative people.

Since then, we’ve met all of you: an incredible community of hundreds of thousands of people who have had transformative creative experiences in our 30-day classes. You’ve developed original cake recipes with Milk Bar’s Christina Tosi and produced new films with YouTube pioneer Casey Neistat. You’ve shared your very first song and released your first EP on a record label. You’ve invented prototypes that have become Kickstarter-backed products. You’ve met people who will become lifelong collaborators and friends.

We want to facilitate more of that — not just with 30-day immersive classes you take once in a while, but with experiences that empower you to make creativity an integral part of your life, day after day, week after week, month after month. We’re changing our name from Monthly to Studio to reflect our evolution as we expand beyond our 30-day classes to create a destination to return to again and again — one that will inspire everyone to live a more creative life.

With our new name comes a new logo. It represents the creative spark. At Studio we know that the creative spark is not something that just strikes like lightning. It is something we can all cultivate within ourselves. At Studio, we know that if you put in the time, if you show up regularly to do your thing — by cooking, writing, making music, or something in between — you can cultivate that spark. And we know that when you do, it lights up you and the world around you. Here’s to more of that.

Sincerely,

Max & Valentin | Co-founders of Studio
